I think there needs to be a reasserted emphasis in journalists painstakingly examining each fact incrementally; and separating opinion from facts; as Walter Cronkite said, newsreading is honourable, but in itself it's not journalism.

So people who are skeptical of the mainstream media are full of hubris? That's certainly a modest view to take. Many of us who question it, and call it out for its numerous failures do so because it is important. It is too important to let it be used as propaganda and a weapon.

That sums it up with the added bonus of appliance to the different thought mechanisms in truth vs MSM. What is a whistle blower ? That which another and/or others does not want printed. What is WikiLeaks with 100% accuracy? The same as a whistle blower. Then there is MSM.

What is courage? To implement that which another does not want printed, truth. However, I see my own hubris in truth of corporation, deep state and the source of all issues, the constitutional manipulation to subvert it from the people to serve a dollar. There are just too many facts behind it = hubris of truth and thus this scripture applies to me in two edged fashion 1 Corinthians 13:6 . I either remain Spiritual and do not participate or I enter the wilderness and suffer my duality of nature. Thus, gaining knowledge is sorrow to the soul...

When I departed from deeper fellowship to participate here in AP , I prayed long and hard that to keep silent in this wilderness of the lie of duopoly (Fed Level) that one truth (oligarchy in thousands of labels) will never be shaken from my personal bias. Humanity & Money do not mix in a "for the people by the people constitution" under capitalist rule. That is oxymoron defined, for someone must be oppressed to fulfill that dynamic.

As I read this thread, Chaela (Spelling of nic may be wrong) made me wistful of ignorance is bliss to the Spirit as I was. There is a season for all things under the sun... Its my time in the wilderness of knowledge. Yet, even knowledge will fall away.

everyone rightly complains about mainstream media, I think the problem is they focus less on facts unless it's big news, and more on the newest biggest scares.

But we also seen the horrors of when idiots look elsewhere, with all the fake news that came up last year, where instead of mainstream media, they went with unsourced, biased news that was half the time completly lying.

And again complaiining about liberal bias, is like complaining about reality. It reminds me of people that complain about mainstream media going after trump all the time, well when he stops doing stuff worthy of going after people will ignore him.
