Well, I think the correct term for the massless matter that forms the expanse of space is Phasma, which is not being confused with the fourth state matter having mass, called Plasma...
Not at all, if one is using conventional physics as a point of reference, which distinguishes between electromagnetic and gravitational forces.Perhaps. But if the extent of the unbalanced charge varies to a greater or lesser extent, then as I said before "it would take a vast coincidence for all of the replications of the experiment to produce the established value of gravitational constant". Additionally, if both rocks were both positively charged, then they would repel, rather than attract. This is not what we see.
No, it just proves the existence of the force that obeys the exact same law as gravity. Which amounts to the same thing.
I believe that the sun is.How would you explain how the sun can make circles over the flat earth with the size of the circles varying daily from small to large in six months and back to small circles during the next six months? What is changing the size of the sun's circles?
I believe that the sun is.
I believe that the sun is sentient, in its own way. It is not rooted in Christian belief, but in Buddhist belief. Religion does not equal only "Bible".Just to be clear...you believe that the sun, on its own, is somehow changing the size of its circles over the flat earth.
There is absolutely nothing known to mankind that supports that belief. Not in science nor in religion.
From AIG

This “geocentric” view is still held today by a few people, although Scripture does not require it and observation clearly shows the earth’s movement. The earth revolves around the sun once a year. It also rotates on its axis every 24 hours.
So, if your beliefs are not rooted in science or in religion, what is the basis for your belief that the sun makes circles (spirals) over a flat earth?

These are both questions for which you can easily Google the answers yourself. If you don't trust Google, go to a library and ask the librarian to direct you to the appropriate science books. What do all the planets of the solar system rotate counterclockwise while Venus and Uranus rotate clockwise?
Then there is the question regarding the shape of the sun which retains an almost perfect spherical form yet rotation of the other planets results in oblate spheriods?
I am not associated with about.com's interpretation of Buddhism, or with Tibetan (Vajryana) Buddhism. I practice early Buddhism rooted in the earliest Nikayas, and the sun as a sentient deity is spoken of in the Samyutta Nikaya 2.10.I used the term religion, not Christianity although I did quote from AIG. However, now that you have clarified your position...
http://buddhism.about.com/od/buddhisthistory/a/mountmeru.htm (My emphasis)
Ancient Buddhists thought Meru was the center of the universe. The Pali Canon records the historical Buddha speaking of it. In time, ideas about Mount Meru and the nature of the universe became more detailed.
Ancient Buddhists imagined the universe as essentially flat, with Mount Meru at the center of all things.
The Last Holdout: Tibet
...the Mount Meru controversy didn't reach isolated Tibet until the 20th century. A Tibetan scholar named Gendun Chopel spent the years 1936 to 1943 traveling in south Asia, soaking up the modern view of the cosmos that by then was accepted even in conservative monasteries. In 1938 Gendun Chopel sent an article to the Tibet Mirror informing his country persons that the world is round.
The current Dalai Lama, who has flown about the round world several times, seems to have put an end to flat earthism among Tibetans by saying the historical Buddha was wrong about the shape of the earth. However, "The purpose of the Buddha coming to this world was not to measure the circumference of the world and the distance between the earth and the moon, but rather to teach the Dharma, to liberate sentient beings, to relieve sentient beings of their sufferings."
What parts of Buddhism support you beliefs?

The theory that they were struck by massive objects after their formation which resulted in the changing directions is ridiculous.
Care to explain what you mean and on what your concepts are based? And the reason the sun maintains its form has everything to do with the ways it moves.
You used the term in a scientific way. I explained I could not find that term used in a scientific way. Now you suggest that I should look up its roots. OK. I did. I googled "Phasma latin roots" and found nothing. You will have to go back to Latin from which it was derived.
What are you supposed to do if you meet Buddha on the road?I am not associated with about.com's interpretation of Buddhism, or with Tibetan (Vajryana) Buddhism. I practice early Buddhism rooted in the earliest Nikayas, and the sun as a sentient deity is spoken of in the Samyutta Nikaya 2.10.

I find early Buddhism to be harmonious with gnostic Christianity as I understand it, so I selected other-churchOK. Thanks for sharing. Now that you have explained that your beliefs are based on ancient Buddhist writings I can understand why you believe that the earth is flat and the the Sun is a Deity that can consciously move about the heavens as it sees fit.
Hopefully you will pardon my earlier confusion. I based it on your:
Faith: Other-Church
I usually think of Temples and not Churches when considering Buddhism.
