Why does everyone hate Mary so much?

I believe Mary's my mother for various reasons. My Father is God in heaven. I know most will scoff and hate at that idea and that's fine. I wont chance denying my inhertance and being in the family of Christ lol.

To demonstrate this common hatred, I posted some Talmud teachings of Mary:

Sanhedrin 106a Says Jesus' mother was a ****: "She who was the descendant of princes and governors played the harlot with carpenters."

Shabbath 104b States Jesus mother, "Miriam the hairdresser," had *** with many men.

People were also saying Mary's bloodine wasnt verified which is absurd. Do you know what 'a virgin' really means during those times? The Muslims know. The Church was more than happy to change it to 'young maiden' despite the unfound calims. But lets just say the 12 year old girl would have had her geneology verified garunteed and also would have been sinless. People just seem to reach for anything it's amazing.

My big issue though is how Mary is denied, yet Sarah somehow gets a pass. And she gets the title of Mother and no one complaints. But with Mary you are asking for a boxing match.

I asked them "ok, how did Sarah get pregnant"? And it's like how dare I ask. After maybe 10 minutes of them not understanding the question, finally the answer was God 'willed it', 'allowed it', or 'spoke it' into happening. Then an American born Muslim comes in defending Mary. He actually then stumbles on evidence which demontrates Sarah likely had reproductive issues (barren woman).

As commentary suggests, obviously Sarah needed the 'hand of God' to ensure the pregnancy. The same one that made Adam and Eve. However, they refused to admit this possibility.

But for some reason Sarah gets a special, uncontested miracle pregnancy and also the Mother title. Sometimes you'll see nic's like 'DaughterOfSarah', 'SarahsDaughter'.

If Inheritance runs from the fathers side, and Mary is Jesus mother, then imagine the inhertance given from the Father lol?

I'm curious where the inner hate and denial for Mary comes from? Why do people hate the idea of calling Mary their mother? Where does this distance come from?

I LOVE Mary..... I hold Her in highest esteem, I call Her Blessed, I honor Her as chief of the saints.

What I don't do is make up stories about Her, dishonor Her by doing the opposite of what She did (focusing entirely on Her Son, NOT Her), violating Her privacy, etc. All things that seem the antithesis of love.

Agreed. If the OP has examples of this occurring in CF among orthodox Christians they should include them so it can be verified.

The Mary some people hate would be the false Mary of Catholic doctrines such as coredemptrix, or immaculate conception or bodily assumption, perpetual virginity or the hail Mary prayer asking Mary to pray for you.

I missed this part of your post when I replied earlier where I need to say that I totally reject the non-Biblical notion that Mary is supposed to by my (or anyone elses) mother; she is no more important than any othe Believing woman who is found in the New Testament.

I agree fully, this type of adoration/worship is nothing less than blasphemous where it seems that those who support Mariolatry are probably her worst detractors; as the saying goes, "with friends like these, who needs enemies".

I would think that the image re-iterates what is known from Scripture -- that Mary was already highly favored by God (Trinity), being created by the Creator for a purpose which would make possible the redemption of mankind; the incarnation of Christ. God's willed, chosen method ...

And none of the rest of us, in all time, of all mankind, was created and chosen for this particular 'skopos'.

I agree that Mary was certainly 'highly favoured' by God for the purpose of bearing Jesus but that is about it.

From what we read in the Gospels it seems that Mary was at best tolerated by Jesus where it seems that she had quickly forgotten that the child Jesus was the Son of God; she could probably be defined as being someone who in her youth had experienced a very powerful work of God but who in later years seems to have forgotten what God has done, where they return to the world with its concerns.

In more recent years, when I consider the amount of blasphemous teachings that have been built around her over the centuries; which I deem to be an insult to her name, I have wondered if God has allowed the many heresies within Mariolatry due to Mary maybe turning her back on the Lord in her later years. Even though this is only a supposition on my part, this is about the only way that I can see why the Lord would have allowed Mary's name to be disgraced in the manner that it has. When Mary stands before the Lord along with the rest of us in the day of Judgment, she will be undoubtedly grieved to hear for the first time of the many heresies that have been attributed to her name.

This entire post is a strawman. No one "hates Mary" because we disagree with the idea that she is "our mother".

Iirc, that title originated as a designation of Christ's deity, not of Mary as the actual mother of God. There is a world of difference between bearing God the Son in His hypostatic union as Jesus, and actually being God's mother. I agree she was highly favored (God would not choose just anyone to bear Jesus) but not to the point of exaltation and the granting of divine properties.
