Why does "embracing the future" seem to be, or mean, that we will, or must become...?

Why does "embracing the future" seem to be, or mean, that we will, or must become, more and more "liberal", or left-wing, or else we are doomed to repeat the past (mistakes)...?

Is there a way to have or "justify" a more conservative future, without having to make or embrace making or repeating past mistakes...? And... Making it "fair and just", respecting the rights, liberty, rules (morals), and freedoms of all...?

If the future is destined to become more and more liberal or left-wing, where will that lead us...? We are becoming more and more liberal in the cause of future or present tense "(rights) liberty and freedom" for all, for the "rights" of/for almost "every" perspective or point of view...

What is the danger in this...? What about the "justice" part of "freedom, liberty and justice for all"...? What about respecting the "rights" in the fact of respecting the (morals) of all...? Will we get to a point where we have almost "no values" at all...?

Comments...?

God Bless!

Are you sure you couldn't fit a few more questions in there? ;)

Embracing too much of the more liberal party, in the name of freedom and liberty for all, could lead to chaos and disorder, which could destroy us...

While embracing too much of the more conservative party, in the name of order and justice, could lead to us repeating the mistakes of the past, and lose all our progress, which also could destroy us...

What do we do...?

God Bless!

Repent, deny yourself, take up the cross, lose your life, be born again, one in Christ, seeking first the kingdom of heaven, a new creation, calling no man on earth your father, putting to death what is earthly...

Secularly speaking a little selfishness would be good for the country. People often sacrifice what they actually want in order to fit in. This causes all sorts of problems. "To thine own self be true". Frank Lloyd Wright said it this way, "I must be faithful to the integrity of my own mind".

Stop setting up false dichotomies. I find the liberal vs. conservative outlook to be restrictive and pretty much is a classic example of taking someone and boxing them in with preconceived labels. If we're going to label people, use the four-sided political spectrum (libertarian/authoritarian and economic-left/economic-right).
