Why Do We Complain? - Advice

Sometimes we feel like a motherless child a long way from home. Sometimes we feel like we're almost gone. Sometimes we feel like we don't have a friend ........ We reach deep but come up with nothing.. we run fast and hard but get nowhere.. We struggle and strain to reach but gain no ground. We live a good life, we work hard yet GOD finds fault with us. He fastens our feet in shackles.* But I tell you, in this we are not right, for God is greater than man. Why do we complain to Him that He hears none of our words? We are sinners.. we are born of sin and living in sin. It is when we hurt, when trouble comes, when the pain has our attention.. this is when we call in crisis to GOD. We pray to GOD.. and gracefully He lightens our load. We feel the load lifted and shout for joy; we are restored by GOD to our blissful state. We go to Him and say, "I have sinned and preverted what was right, I repent" and through Jesus we are forgiven. We do not get what we deserve! We do wrong and repent: He redeems our souls, He refreshes our spirit. Then go right back to our sinful glee.. Those stuck in the funk cry, "woe is me, the Lord does not hear me nor release me from these snares!" It is the sin in themselves they do not see and will not be heard until they repent this sin. God does no wrong! The Almighty Lord would not pervert justice! We are not being overlooked. Those who suffer He delivers in their suffering; He speaks to them in their affliction. To be forgiven we go to GOD and say, "I am guilty Lord, but will offend no more. Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I will not do so again". Should GOD reward others on their terms when they refuse to repent? The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when He fetters them, they do not cry to Him for help. So it is us, the saved He is wooing from the jaws of distress to a spacious place free from restriction, to the comfort of His table laden with choice food. Let us thank GOD and rejoice. In our sufferring we should not yearn for the night to take us away from our homes. We must beware of turning to evil, which we prefer over the pain of affliction. Instead, let us take the affliction and be delivered. Let us be careful not to be enticed by riches; not to let a large bribe turn us aside from the Lord. Wealth combined with all of our mighty efforts will not sustain us from distress. Let us stop, consider, repent and give thanks for God’s grace.
