I'd rather die fighting for a cause than dump all our problems on God, we pray too much and do too little. Only christians get (pooped) on, while all other religions are praised, even catholism is finally showing its fangs.
Remember Jesus parable about the master and his 3 servants to whom each he gave a fair share or money? One of them wasted it, the other burried it and did nothing(you) and the other invested it and got tripled(?) His intial amount and gave it to his master.
The point is, we have to stop being pacificts, its killing us. Each of us has untold amounts of power given by God himself IF we chose to use it. "Faith can move mountains"

USEFUL in the fight against evil spreading across the USA.Why do we let it happen? Because theres not much we can do about it. In the past there were groups that would call for change. In the 80s I always remember parent groups and just general groups calling for change and getting it. For example almost no christian accepted Ellen as a comedian. And her having a tv show would never have happened then. But todays a diffrent world. These groups that call for change are smaller and laughed at now but the world.
Christians to some degree are powerless to change things. And in the future it will only get worse. The bible even says things will get worse in the end. Am I saying we roll over on our belly and admit defeat? Well sort of. Its fine to pray about it, its fine to speak out against it. But we can only delay the inevitable outcome that the bible says would happen.
The fact (As one poster said) that a 12 year old came out as gay shows its a different world then it was just almost 30 years ago. Such a thing would be considered outrageous. As a video gamer in his mid 30s its crazy the things I see today. In games with audio chat, kids are saying things that would make a sailor blush. They know words that I don't even know about sex, swearing, murder...etc.
They now take video game characters and right erotic "fan fiction" about them. Even drawing pornographic art and what not.

Whenever I read threads like this, I see a lot of misunderstanding about culture. Television shows and movies are not a reflection of real life, in fact, if anything, most criticisms I've heard about TV shows is that they've become too unrealistic. The show Friends has become infamous for this, to where it's Netflix description ends with "...with really nice apartments." Nobody in mainstream culture is gagging their six year-old, and nobody would or be even okay with that. It's something so ridiculous that if you can look past your initial shock that the ridiculousness of it is funny to some people, others won't find it funny and that's also okay. Personally, I don't know enough about the joke from that picture to really have an actual opinion over whether or not it's over the line.
Secondly, one of the most important things I think I was ever taught is that when people make jokes directed towards you, they are not being malicious towards you. The ability to laugh at yourself and what you are apart of I think is one of the most psychology healthy things you can do. It makes life so much easier and more enjoyable to laugh at your own expense.

This upsets me as well. In fact, most things on television are unsettling. Since you and I are apart of the body of christ, it is important to realize the various forms of communication are defiled by the deceiver.Satan seeks to pervert everything pure and holy. My question to Christians all over the world is.. why are we allowing the evil people to win?
Its like we feel powerless? Are we truly powerless though?
I understand christianity is somewhat of a pacifist religion however..
didn't Jesus go and break all the tables of the money lenders, salesman, etc and even grabbed a whip as to scare them all away from selling in the temple?
Jesus was no pacifist, he CHOSE to let himself be crucified to absolve us of our sins.
All apostles carried swords to defend themselves and like Jesus they also called out evil.
But it seems as if modern christians have been castrated and they have no idea how much power they truly hold. Not as a group but every individual has power beyond their expectations.
Many of us fear calling out this evil because of fear of being called a racist, bigot, homophobe, etc.
Well let them call us what they will, because its coming from the serpents mouth to shut us down, from personal experience, the day i stopped caring about being called any of the aforementioned was the day that devilish tongues lost their grasp on me.
But as we have all seen this rising trend as of late... how long until we start seeing words like pedophobe being tossed at us..?
And let me tell you the word pedophobe is already starting to be used.
Even criminals on life sentences abhorr pedophiles.

Jesus wasn't just a Messiah, he was also a politician, a healer, he would call out evil on the spot and he would talk to the people around the evil person as to not debate the evil person but to show the crowd and let them know of the evils at his present time.
This is why they(the guilty) hated him, this is why theres so many atheist and downright satanic people today, and why they hate christians especially so much.
Because they hate Jesus and his followers because they call them out on their evil.
And they know they are guilty but they hate being reminded of it and moreso being exposed to those around them.
