I have and do repent, though... only, there seems no one to direct it to, so it's hard to see any effect of that.

My question is, WHY would anyone turn down God's offer of forgiveness, reconciliation, and redemption?

Maybe some have counted the cost. While salvation is free there is a great cost. As an example if my wife were to give me a micro-sprint as a gift, free, with no strings, the cost would be that I would go racing. I would love the gift and dedicate time, money and effort to it. Now salvation is infinitely more valuable than a race car, and if we understand it we will love it and dedicate all of our time, money and effort to it. Ironically some see that as a steep price.

Various reasons......

Here is one, there are many people who dont yet know of this offer........in fact there are many in churches who dont yet know of this wonderful offer.........there are many in church eladership who dont yet know of this wonderful offer.

if the church had God people would believe our message, we as a church do not look like we have God the way Moses did or Elijah, or David, Jesus, get reconciled not religious and then people will come to you.

We are building church like that here in London and people don't recognize it. One guy said to me yesterday: I can't believe this is a church, I enjoy coming here.
