Some people seem to hate prostitutes. I think there are very few people you should hate and prostitues are not included. I have a theory that one of the reasons is that people need to genuine affection so they hate "fake" people

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would say some who don't like sin are so into enforcing the idea is wrong that they often don't think of what they are doing. Is it the bigger sin to look like you hate instead of love? More than likely, after all most who point the finger actually know more about morality than the ones they point it at. Perhaps they should take the time to intelligently explain why they feel it is wrong and help the people find the right path, if the person in question so chooses?
I don't feel it is right to be a prostitute personally, but I don't feel I should go try and scare them into coming to church. I should understand that all commit wrongs and are in need of understanding.

I love prostitutes, but not in a "i'm gonna get a std" way. They are human beings, they work real hard, they deserve much respect.

Btw, how do you know that some people hate prostitutes? Did they tell you? I don't personally know of anybody who hates prostitutes, but if I did, I would ask them to explain. I can understand how some people might dislike (or even hate) prostitution, just like some people hate congress. To hate the prostitute is one I have not heard.

I worked as a front desk clerk at a hotel once, and I encountered a Christian who was attempting to convert the prostitutes in the area. In order to do this he had to bring them all to his hotel room. He showed me the prayer he gives them to read. Another of his ministry tools was a gigantic bottle of Kaluah.

We had an athetic director at my high school who was an atheist. He was p.o.'d about another teacher who used to wear a t-shirt that said Happy Birthday Jesus, during Christmas season. He had a bumper sticker on his car that said "Religion is for the weak", and he liked to discuss his beliefs at an off campus coffee shop with students, especially athletes. He was 47 years old, and he had a big fat gut on his belly. He also had asthma, and he could barely haul his chubby butt across the baseball diamond. Why he was an athletic director, I will never know. Anyway, he molested at least 5 freshmen girls when I went to school there. They were 14-15 years old. One of the girls said he always smelled of licorice and alcohol.
Do you think that means that all atheist are athletic directors, child molestors, and smell of licorice and alcohol. Do you suppose it also means that all atheist's hate 14-15yo high school girls?
