NOTE: This is for the person who is living righteous and holy by the power of the Holy Ghost in Christ Jesus and still seems to be going through hard times. If you have fallen in sin repent! if you are living in sin repent and believe on the gospel of Jesus Christ and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Ghost and ask the Father to fill you with His Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:13 "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live."

John 12:24- "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal." We have to die to the old man.=============================================GOD will allow things in your life to break you or help you "die to the old man" if you are willing to go through it. There is a lot of "stuff" that we have in our souls (ie: our emotions, will, intellect, desires, affections) that GOD can't use and is preventing us from truly bearing fruit like GOD intended, it is also written Hebrews 12:6 "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth " GOD sees the big picture, everything GOD allows in your life (even the tribulations and trials) are for our good and to mold us to be more like Christ Jesus His Son. Let the Lord put you through the fire so he can purge the impurities! GOD wants to use us all, He works long and hard in His children to get us to yield to the Holy Spirit and not quench His Spirit. Sometimes it takes dying and coming back to life or going through something very hard and real to get you to yield your will over to GOD and let Him work through you by His Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus. All glory be to GOD in Christ Jesus who is everything good in us, He is the source of all that is light and good and righteous and in Him is no darkness at all.
