Does that include say gluttony? CC doesnt say a word about gluttonous people continuing their gluttonous ways.

Actually, that topic was part of my first topic I started when I joined CC. Linky here. The OP specifically addressed my concern about the increase in obesity rates in the US, what should be done at the government level ... but more importantly, what position should Christians take in addressing this stewardship position.

No one was hurt there except the members of CCC. Remember, Belinda, I KNOW of the IIDB conversations in which you and Rochir were stating that you wanted to do bad things to Nadiine. I also read how you laughed about what you had posted at CCC knowing that it was going to stir things up and you could not wait for a reaction. I also read another, and I do not recall what member of WWMC it was now, but they were mocking CC and stating that their goal was to get people banned.

So, I KNOW for a fact that this "Why can't we all get along?" is a farce. You do not deliberately plot to incite people and get them banned and call it peacemaking.

Do you deny a single word of what I have written? I have saved every single word of it.

No, that was MY mistake, Criada. I thought there were no agendas. I didn't understand it until I read it with my own eyes. I pooh poohed anyone who said that Liberals were trying to take over CCC.

Home Forum? What does that mean? Do they have a membership list? We are not allowed to have a membership list anymore.

I preached love and tolerance and speaking truth in love. All along, I was being used to divide the forum even further.

Now, we have a member who has plain out stated that she is pro-choice but is a member of CCC. You tell me how that happened, Criada. You tell me why our guidelines mean nothing now.

We reacted badly, I am sure, but it was a reaction to a real planned attack that started from the first day.

Belinda, you and I corresponded via PM during the bulk of the WIKI writing of the CC rules. I think you pretty well knew that you going to CC would cause a major ruckus. I used to limit my posting here because I knew I would have the same effect with several of the posters here. No need to show my face when I knew it would result in a fiasco. I think several people view it as you wanting to have and eat your cake.

Oh, and a goodly portion of this thread was all about CC, before Lisa ever came along. Who are we kidding here?

Rochir, Now is your chance. You can join CCC and there is no one who will stop you. It is what you wanted from day one when you were voting in our polls and trolling for reports. It is completely open to you now. You will be greeted with hugs and pro-choice ribbons.

Brief history lesson:

There used to, in the not-so-far past at CF, be a rule against mentioning moderator actions. This was applied as follows:

1. No mentioning specific moderator actions. kthxbye.

2. Vague "if mods did X would it have been within protocol" kind of threads could be discussed in Support.

There were a fair number of people banned under the above rules. I observed as Ombudsman. These rules went out the window on 7-7-7. The rules were selectively applied to CCC because it was a problem area in discussing mod actions--the types of discussion that breed disrespect for moderators and make it more and more difficult for moderators to do their jobs especially under the loose post-7-7-7 moderation.

Liberals who break forum rules should be subject to moderation, just like in all other Congregationals and I have no idea of the size of whatever problem that was. But I expect it was continual negative discussing of mod actions that became the last straw.

I didn't clarify my position on abortion, because I never said I was pro-abortion to start with. I believe it is wrong--flat-out wrong. My way of dealing with the abortion crisis is different from many cc'ers, though.

Yes, a lot of it was about CC. But the intent was not about CC. People tend to use their nearest frame of reference when talking.

If I had been intent on creating a ruckus, I would have signed-in straightaway. I didn't. I waited several days and even gave people the opportunity to question my motivations--for which I got soundly criticized.

Yes, I did in one instance. That is because I knew she would get mad when she read it. That doesn't mean that she didn't need to see it, though. I know my kids will get mad about stuff, too, but that doesn't stop me from doing what is right.

This is true, she even was not going to because I had been uncomfortable with it, then I told her to go ahead and sign in.

Anyway, back to op-I guess it dpeneds on which liberals and which conservatives one asks.
There are extremes on both sides.
Myself, I am religiously conservative, but will hang out with the anti war people (who i assume are considered liberals) any time.

Soundly criticized from who? From the people you said you just gave the opportunity for questioning from? Or from other people outside of CC who wanted to see you go over there?

I guess what floors me, and others, is that most people in CC wanted just one forum ... that they could speak to issues that are central to their lives. You have made your way into all three. And they wonder why that is necessary.

I post in Moderates because I'm moderate on a number of issues.

I post in CC because I'm conservative.
