Why do Calvinists think THEY are the elect?

I gotta agree...Mormons are not christians...they are as christian as the gnostics were IMHO.
But I digress...back to the OP...

The only way that the mormon comment may be true is if he meant that these groups CONTAIN individuals who are elect but have not yet been called.......which is entirely possible.
