Why didn't the PM make a more convincing case?

His pitch 'we are stronger together than we are apart' meant nothing,

What did 'stronger' mean? It must mean against something, like what, the TIPP?

No, Cameron favors TIPP and it was France who first stood against it. I still have no idea what he was talking about.

That 'Stronger Together' was his central point is itself a statement that there was no stronger point to make, and it was pathetic.

And we got the little gambit that an out vote might rid us of Cameron, enough to tip a close outcome to one in favour of 'Leave'.

He argued for the EU the only way he knew how, a fear campaign on economic fears, which very few people of which he needed to convince would fear more than immigration(of which the EU debate always ends up a proxy for).

It seemed to me that the stronger together guff was a half-hearted attempt at a positive campaign after criticism.

As much as I hated Hamron, I don't see a single leadership hopeful who will be better than him.

Not that it really matters talking about candidates, Boris has been campaigning for leadership for months now, and no one seems to of run against him so far, that's quite a head start, and for the favourite too.

Whether Corbyn wants to go or not, he's also on borrowed time.

This is a great time for his critics to remove him, especially as (ex?)Labour voters have been said to be the key group of voters in this referendum for weeks now.(even though Conservatives, have proven to be consistently more divided)
Ironically, probably replacing him with someone more pro-EU.

I think it'll be a shame if Corbyn ends up going, no idea who would replace him. If it's down to the membership again they might just vote him in again if he was to contest it. As you say, Corbyn was not a EU-phile and was pretty low key during this referendum so don't think that helped the Remain cause.

Looks like he may be out by Tuesday.
I have no idea how Labour goes about things when removing a leader via secret ballot, but I doubt the PLP will let Corbyn or McDonnell stand if they can avoid it.

I have no idea who they'll try and replace him with.
Hopefully someone better than the previous batch of candidates.
