Matthew 24-27
And, behold there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was alseep. 25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, sae us: we perish. 26 And, he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O yet of little faith? Then he arose, and reuked the windes and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27 But the men marvelled, saying, what manner of man is this, that even the winds and sea obey him!
It is good to know that God is even in control of the storm. It says, "what manner of man is this that even the winds and the sea obey him? So through your storm the Lord is still in control. He is in control of how much it rains, when it rains, and when it stops. If you don't believe me then turn to Job 1:12 and Job 2:6. Now when statan wanted to do what he want to do God said, you can do this, but you can not do that. It even says in 1 Samuel that an evil spirit was sent from the Lord. God is in control of your storm, of your pain and your strain. Amen. so in in your darkest hour know that do is on the throne and is able to calm the seas adn rain.
Going back to verse 25, it states, Let we perish. And Jesus replied, why are you fearful? Oh you of little faith. Let me ask you why are you fretting, why are you depressed, why are you anxious, why are you bitter, of you of little faith. Where is your faith. Do you not know that through your storm that Jesus in the boat with you. Therefore, You WILL NOT, DROWNED, YOU WILL NOT PERISH! Amen. Let me encourage you, whatever your storm is financial, family, job, depression, sickness, pain, hurt, Jesus is in the boat with you! Be not like the disciples saying Lord Jesus, why am I going through this, I will surely drowned in this situation. If Jesus brang the storm then he will bring you through it.
2 Corinthains says, For this light affliction which is but for a moment is working for us a far better and exceeding weight in Glory. He will get some glory out of your trial and situation. Wait on the Lord, just wait on him his is in the boat with you. Jesus is the weather man, he is in charge of the storm. "Those that the Lord loves he prunes (he cuts back something), so that they can bear MORE fruit." Amen.
