Well, I wanted a change from my usual username ((momma2bri)). When I set up my internet account I needed a short username for it, and so this is what I picked. Simply, it is my name, and oz is short for Australia. I LOVE the country; actually have a passion for it and the people there. Would love to live there one day.

This has been my standard screen name for many years (since jr high i believe). Rin is short for Erin. I think of it kind of like a campaign sticker- like "Environmentalists 4 Smith" (assuming that this hypothetical Smith had a strong environmental platform ;))

Its my proclomation that I am All for Christ

This probably sounds silly, but "Pineapple Lesson" is a lesson, literally taken from a pineapple. As a symbol for hospitality, the pineapple seems misleading. You'd expect a symbol that is warm, soft, and open. But the pineapple is none of those things - on the outside. The inside is another story though. Our lives can be like that too. Maybe the outside is not as lovely or as welcoming as we'd like. Maybe our material possessions are few, but we have a rich inner life or a loving, joyful family. Remember that it's the inside that counts! Share what's there.

This is what I like to call, overanalyzing. But I think it's cute and fitting. And my Mom is a big pineapple fan. There are pineapple glasses, plates, statues, everything all over her house. My favorite is a carved wooden pineapple from Hawaii perched atop three tiers of hand carved wooden bowls, and the pineapple leaves come out and can be used as dip spreaders.

Somehow this has turned into a message about pineapples and not my username, but anyway...
