did not know the vatican removed some books? i'm sure it is common to treat some of the books as less important or less inspired.
one reason they were removed was for the synchronous revelation of the 66 books of the bible that made up the bible wheel. for instance each chapter of Isiah would represent one of the 66 books in the (protestant) bible.
another reason was that 6 is mans number and adding that 6 to the 66 books is a synchronous symbol God decided to show us for the mystery concerning 666.
another reason was that there were doubts in many people over the books that they could no longer find written in the original hebrew and further doubts concerning errors in books which end up not conserving the literal accuracy of the bible even though it preserves and even pushes people to see the spirit of the letter.
maybe some people who were revealed to be evil to Gods servants in certain text attempted to rid themselves of some of the holy text by corrupting them in various ways so that they would discard those books as not to be trusted due to errors and thus eventually the writings would then become less well preserved which might be one reason why we find a difference in the hebrew canon and others. we still have some copies of the stories of things such as the prophet isiah being sawn in half by the priesthood but they are no longer official canon.
you have to remember that in some point in history if a cataclysm or some king decides that a library needs to be burnt down that certain written text are then possibly forever lost to the world.
or it could have been that various factions in Israel that were vying for dominion had certain agendas where certain scriptures were not as useful to them as others and so they would try to suppress or make popular X scripture.
further the Holy Spirit sees fit that some books even if they are in some measure inspired are not fit for the makeup of whatever kind of plan he had depending on the souls he was looking out for which is why you see things like the book of enoch being quoted but it is not commonly thought of as being scripture.
