Read Matthew 10: 34 - 37
34Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.</SPAN> 35For I have come to turn</SPAN>
a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law
36a mans enemies will be the members of his own household.e</SPAN>
37Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
Discuss. Was Jesus being flippant, or did he mean what he said? I was brought up in a Christian household and we've never had the problems he spoke about.

Oh so true. If only the christians in my family would stop bleating on about how sad it makes them that I am not a believer we wouldn't fight so much.
