Why Did I Ever Come Back!

Originally, this thread was posted to vent my frustration with what is going on in here concerning the attitude of certain people.

But after receiving admonition from a concerned Christian, I realized that it was not productive in drawing people closer to Christ.

So I want to change it.

Let's think of ways that we can better share Christ's love with each other. In fact, let's use this thread to share our experiences with each other, to share how Jesus has impacted our lives, thus demonstrating that we do love Him.

let's make this the anything about Jesus thread! How about that?

You can post daily, weekly, or even monthly! But let's make this thread all about encouraging each other. We can share our struggles, our prayers, and most importantly, our love!

Please, let's leave the issues out of this one. let's make this one all about fellowship! All about Jesus!

It just so happens, Jesus has said we're his remnant church yayness. If anyone wishes to learn more, please go here



Jesus wrote revelation (by inspiring John, of course ) and in it he calls us his remnant church.

So, whats wrong with us calling ourselves the remnant church?

What are we supposed to say we are to people who ask?

You just don't get it do you? It's not about knowing you are a part of the true church. Knowing that you are a part of the true church is not an evil thing. It's the manner in which you express that belief that makes it evil!

The Pharisees also had the truth, but their pride kept them from seeing Jesus, and so they crucified the Truth!

You are on your way to doing the same thing! You need to change that attitude.

Be meek! Be like Jesus.

You know, if you just spent half as much time studying the character of Christ as you do playing those video games, you would learn enough about Him to realize that the attitude that you've displayed here this evening has shamed our church!

You've been constantly telling me, that by saying we're the remnant church, it is bad! But then you tell me that its not!

I am so dang confuzeled -.-

I thought my manner wasn't bad at all... I was trying to be friendly and... O_O

I've got to go sleep over at a friends house soon, as sabbath has set. Well, we'll have to continue this at another date, I'm afraid unless someone else is willing to (and there probably is) continue this discussion with you I'll be reading it with earnest interest.

I think you should tell the truth.

Truth can be found in the Bible and I believe the SDA Church at this stage best represents what is written in the Bible.

This is because the most we can call ourselves is a denomination. We are not the Christian church. We are only a part of the Christian church. By definition, therefore, it cannot be correct to call ourselves the true church.

It's been a long time since someone got me so heated over theological issues, so my emotions got the best of me.

But yes, this thread is non-productive in drawing people closer to Christ.

I wish I knew how to delete posts. I guess we don't have that option.
