Okay. I understand everything you say, and I agree with you.

But I'd just like to suggest that you make that rule clearer in the list of rules specific to the forum. My issue was because of what I interpreted from rule 2:

2) Charismatic Christian members from all denominations can post fellowship threads here as well as debate threads to discuss various doctrines to do with their own denomination and other denominations (including the Catholic church), as long as they are within our rules.

This rule lead me to think that Charles, as a Charismatic, was allowed to debate with other Charismatics.

This rule should be made clearer because, as we all know, there are few set Charismatic doctrines - the movement transcends Denomination. As a result, it should be made clear which doctrines are considered basic for someone to be Charismatic and, thus, are not debatable.

Otherwise, one would be discriminating against non-mainstream Charismatics.

All in my humble opinion.

Okay for the record...The rules of the charismatic forum are correct...you can be any denomination and be charismatic. This is one reason we made the sticky thread that asks what your denomination is and asked you to post if you are charismatic. It shows us all that we may be charismatic, but we all are not the same denomination. We all have one common factor, that being that we are charismatic. That is why there is no charicmatic icon.

But to discuss Charismatic issues - not to discuss and debate specific denominational issues; be they Messianic, Catholic, Baptist etc.... right??

Eh...from an interpreter's perspective, the rules seem to suggest that that's allowed.

The only discussion of this type that isn't allowed appear to be those of rule 5

5) No posts that denigrate a Christian denomination or Christian group including the Catholic church will be tolerated - these will be deleted and the poster will be warned.
Does this also show that the rules need to be more specific?
