The reason for me being single is beyond me, honestly. The last steady relationship I had was a year and a half ago (and it was awesome while it lasted, even though she was Muslim), and I've been drifting from girl to girl ever since; and they either don't end up liking me, or I don't end up liking them.

I could just peg it down to findiing the right girl yet. I could also peg it down to laziness and being flirty (but not persistant). Which is ironic, considering that I have some pretty depressed episodes where I lament my lack of a current love-life, and even consider becoming loose and hitting on anything that moves instead of looking for the right woman and waiting until marriage for sex.

Either way, I hope the singleness ends pretty soon and the wait is worthwhile, because sometimes I get this feeling that I'm doomed to be single for life (although it doesn't feel like that last message is coming from God).

I'm single because God chose not to heal my wife. Otherwise I'd still be married to her.

I'm single because it took years for me to get over it, learn to deal and accept and during that time I wasn't interested in having another relationship.

I'm presently single because in all honesty, with most women I haven't put forth much effort.

I'm also presently single because I'm picky. I've been told by some women that I shouldn't be - lol - because of my age (37) but I'm not very interested in having a woman just to have a woman. I know what I'm looking for and won't settle for "you'll do".

I would have to say I haven't met the right guy yet. I find it hard to meet single Christian men, not sure why that is. I've also been the one pushing God on every guy I meet like I'm forcing Him on them or something. Even though they say they are Christians. I have to find someone who doesn't mind praying and reading the bible together and taking turns initiating it.
