This is the Church of England we're talking about!
Why do we have to be categorized AT ALL? We are supposed to be all ONE BODY.Canadian75 said:I'm curious why you chose to be a member of the Pentecostal/Charismatic denomination. I'm especially interested in hearing from those who were not raised in their denomination, but even comments from those raised Pentecostal/Charismatic are welcome. I recently left the Roman Catholic Church and am in the process of evaluating other local churches, but I figured I could use this forum to see why people like where they are.
Peace.

I didn't really fully understand faith and salvation, other than Jesus saves, until I moved back to WV from NC. It was then I began to seek God more passionately, reading my Bible, going to churches that helped me grow (some even tore me down), and all that good stuff.
So finally I got around to just picking up behind her and going with the Godly flow.
I attend different churches, but I really like AoG...

Exactly and since we are all one body, we are yet divided by denominations and traditions.Canadian75 said:We are. But some agree with one interpretation of scripture over others, some enjoy one congregations company more than others, etc. White light is composed of multiple colors (wavelength frequencies really, but you get the point), I'm just asking why you're red light instead of green (for example). My question has nothing to do with right or wrong, 'real' Christian or 'fake' Christian, etc.
Peace.
