I'm here for a couple of reasons - to learn, and also for my amusement. I rarely have much to say, since my limited knowledge in things scientific is not worth exposing. There are others here whose knowledge and articulation are far superior to my own.

To further my understanding of biology and all that kind of stuff. For every creationist arguement is there some intresting reason that shows that the creationist arguement is faulty. Discovering these before we are teached about it in class makes me a top student. Not very alturistic...

Indeed, researching and countering creationism gives an excellent overview over a number of fields of science.

I'm here because I believe that creationism is harmful to evangelism and to faith, and therefore it is important that people understand it's a fringe view and not essential to Christianity in any way, shape or form.

I love talking on this forum because i honestly learn alot from people who know TONS more info than I. I feel though that creationist and evolutionist are constantly fighting this unending battle of evolution/creation but at the same time allows the doors of knowledge to shine. I enjoy everyone who particatipes on these threads because each person, no matter how small or big, brings something special to the table. A view not thought of before, an expertise per say. I love talking with each one of you.

I am here to observe the species Homo Sapiens Christianus in its natural habitat. Hopefully, I may be able to tag a few specimens; capture them; and examine them from the confines of my lab. I cant say that I am here (consciously) to, as a Christian (some would call it "Thumper") straighten anyone out. I do enjoy discussion with multiple viewpoints , however "discussion" is not what seems to most often happen here.

And am likewise not all that learned in the sciences (I'm a busybody, don't like reading too much), and hence try to restrain myself from posting foolishly, and beseech others to do the same

People keep forgetting that this is a science forum also, and we are allowed to talk about things other than the usual evolution/creation discussion. Although there does not seem to be anyway to get away from it if you want to post on here.
