I can't narrow it down to any one thing, but given the acrimony that exists even among the Christian members of these forums it certainly isn't surprising.why are there so many evil people in the world?
Exactly. Eve ate the forbidden fruit. It might seem like just a little sin. But by the next generation, her son is murdering his brother. Evil begets evil. We have a terminal sin cancer, and the only cure is radical heart surgery, which is only available through the ultimate Healer.Because of sin. Some are sinning without knowing it. Which would seem to suggest that there are factors at play other than the sinful nature of human beings. That's a very narrow minded oversimplification.I don’t know if this is germane but the violent crime rate in the US has been on a steady decline since 1992. However, there has been a very slight rise since 2019. Whether this is statistically significant only time will tell.
