This is the Jesus who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Foot washing was the work of a servant. People really do not understand God and His ways. When we see how much better God's ways are than ours, we will be happy to accept His rule. Also, those who are born again have a new nature which is entirely in harmony with God. We can serve Lord Jesus because we want to, not by compulsion. It can take a while before we learn to trust Him to that extent. But that is the ultimate objective of our faith.</p></blockquote><p></p>
