  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

Why are there no more individual countries or rulers after Christ returns?

I don't know if this belongs in the "Exploring Christianity" forum or other place, but I have also found out that a couple of the sister forums were apparently closed down. I'm interested especially in hearing from the NWO theorists on this, many whom are religious. Why is it that we have individual countries here with their own individual sovereignty and methods of doing things, but these countries are slowly becoming one single totalitarian world government unofficially called the NWO, like in George Orwell's book, 1984. And when God/Christ returns, he will disrupt/overthrow this and create a new world, like a Heaven on Earth. But my question is, how is this new world any less controlled?

After all, this God is a being with infinite power. He's unrestrained by anything else. God can tell people what they can and cannot do, when, where or how they can or cannot do it. He specifically condemns certain expression or thoughts in the Bible (as in having lustful thoughts about someone or thoughts and expressions against God's authority). Now, he does allow repentance, and he will forgive you as long as it's under his conditions. Note that I am not against rules either, every rational person believes in some kind of rules to live. But the type of absolute rule I am proposing reminds me more of the former I described, more-or-less I suppose. Isn't it true from a certain point of view that we would be only trading one dictator for another?

And not even saying that I hate God either. I actually love God, but I have this philosophical question.

Scripture provides a clear conclusion that there will be no sin in heaven or in the new earth. Our bodies will be different, the curse of sin will be removed, and we will be in direct access to God's presence as believers.

    God is love.

    Romans 13

    Love Fulfills the Law

8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Love will be our new norm ... it won't take any effort nor direction from God ... it will
just be ... and for eternity ... AMEN!

"A dispute also arose among the disciples as to which of them would be considered the greatest. So Jesus declared, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them call themselves benefactors. But you shall not be like them. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves.…"

One of the last things that Jesus did was to wash His disciples feet. This is the Jesus who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Foot washing was the work of a servant. People really do not understand God and His ways. When we see how much better God's ways are than ours, we will be happy to accept His rule. Also, those who are born again have a new nature which is entirely in harmony with God. We can serve Lord Jesus because we want to, not by compulsion. It can take a while before we learn to trust Him to that extent. But that is the ultimate objective of our faith.

That is the general idea, yes. We reject and repent of the ways of man in favour of the ways of God. We essentially reverse what happened in the Garden and no longer know we are naked again. We have learned to hate the problems created by the self serving ways of man and freely choose the will of God over the will of man.

But what happens once we forget the will of man and the damage it does? It says sin which is the self serving will of man, will be forgotten. But what is to prevent us from doing another Eve if we no longer remember sin? Are we to become like the family pet? Does God take away our wonder and creativity?

Who says that we will not remember sin? God does not remember our sin, but for sure we do. We will also have a reminder (if we need it) in the Lake of Fire.

We are not like angelic beings. We were created in God's image. Those who are born again have the life of Christ in them. Once Satan is thrown into the lake of fire, the source of temptation will be gone. Once our bodies are replaced, we will no longer have the flesh nature to contend with.

Far from becoming like the family pet, we become like Christ. This maybe the greatest promise in all of God's word:

1 John 3: 1-3 "Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure."

Now we know that Lord Jesus tempted in every way that we can be, yet He did not sin. I can see no possible reason why we should turn to sin in eternity.

Because Jesus, His physical Self, will be upon the Earthly throne. He is a flawless Ruler, unlike all those who have preceded Him.
(The 25¢ word/name for that is The Thearchy!)

It is not yet clear how that will play out in this world.

Does that mean that God's intention of creating a hybrid of Himself and an animal failed?

I suppose I understand the point of that part somewhat, but it still confuses me too.

When Christ returns He will be pulling His church from the earth. This means that the Holy Ghost who is protecting humanity will no longer be here and the AntiChrist will very quickly establish his one world government and he will basically rule the world. Gods protection over the world will be gone and at that point He is saying " I am done. Do with them what you want." Prayers to God will go unanswered. The world will go into temporary darkness, and you must not leave your home until the sun shines again. This will be the saddest time in all humanity. It is approaching soon. In your lifetime for sure.

For one, we believe that in the Age to Come our very humanity has been transformed; with the extinguishing of death and sin and the renewal and healing of all creation the impulses of selfishness, the inward-directed impulses and desires which seek the elevation of oneself over others has also been conquered by God's grace.

The reasons for power are no longer present. Grace gives birth to a world of endless freedom and possibilities, in which the shackles of death can no longer hamper and harm.
