Don't give up. Just laugh it off.
I've met quite a few Jesuits. I have not yet met a militant one. Their older history may be but if so, they seem to have mellowed.
The Jesuits have their own web site; I suspect it may be a good primary source for information about them. It isn't even in a secret location, just type jesuits.org and you'll find it.Talk about a highly censored post! I guess military talk can be a bit risque.
That is ignorance [willingly or no] of history and of the recorded facts thereof:they were not "militant"...
It is kind of amusing to watch a thesis being fleshed out by somebody who is trying to refute it, or something ...
The web site for the chap on the video clip has a "book store" and it sells Ellen White books - mostly the kind that SDAs give away to folk who haven't asked for them. I reckon that tells a story in itselfYes, but then I see the thesis and then the video. And well the guy in the video had a message on the Pope's uneasiness towars fundementalism, which this guy in the video mistook for Francis declaring a "war on fundamentalists."
I have a hard time taking that kind of theory or thesis seriously.

Welcome to the Society of Jesus in the United States
they were not "militant"
they were setting up schools and preaching
that is how Protestantism was slowed down
not military
preaching, teachings, getting rid of corruption
Rhami,... back up, ...away from a focus on the nice guys who make up the largest part of this and other organizations like the masons, to where you can see the tiny few who have taken behind-the-scenes control.
NWO globalism isn't the goal of the obedient soldiers. They are busy doing the hard work of creating a good PR presence in the places they want to have political influence.
Counter-reformation didn't depend solely upon winning the hearts and minds of the simple masses with sound doctrine and superior social charity.
Jesuit political intrigue is no myth.
Jesuit political intrigue is no myth.
Anyone who has watched Game of Thrones or Vikings knows how old that intrigue is...
On a realistic scale though, yes, the RCC and just about every other religious organization seeks to get their hooks into .gov one way or another.
God forbid that Jerry Falwell and his 'religious right' ilk would have penetrated any further than they did or do.
Separation of church and state is A DIVINELY ORDAINED separation.
The worst curse for us would be the realignment of the RCC with .gov. I can't imagine how much better a high tech inquisition would go for them.
True enough but should we as the church, in non-partisan lines at any rate, not be active in the political process?
I think we as believers all know quite well that the ethical legal/governmental systems that are currently in place are openly corrupt.
But to replace them, or in effect, to go back to the coordinated two head positions of the RCC and state is an even worse idea.
Continual Reformation is a GREAT idea both religiously and politically.
