Why am I going to Hell in your eyes?

I consider myself a good person, I have my personal inner peace, I keep all the morals that one should, I don't lie much, don't do any drugs, I'm not promiscuous (big fan of chivalry), I take care of my family, I support homosexuality, I support evolution, think prayer has no place in schools, and I reject all gods and all religions because of my reasoning and logic.

People tell me all the time I'll burn in hell for an eternity if I don't accept their particular god. Is that really enough of an offense for eternal damnation?

Are you?

I certainly don't know that.

No.

However, I also don't claim to know how God can teach and transform you in the way needed if you do not listen to him.

God offers eternal life for those who seek salvation of sins in Jesus, the only sacrifice worthy to offer such a thing.

outside of that, the punishment for sin is death. we all know there is a 100% chance of dying. God wants us to seek life and get away from the things that kill us, which is sin. Jesus offers life after death, showing us with His own resurrection, we can have hope prayerfully. God doesn't want us just to die.

I urge you to seek truth, and follow what is good and right, according to your conscience. if you are interested in more of Jesus' teachings, I recommend reading the New Testament, it is much better than church preachings actually. God bless

Anyone who rejects the way of Salvation, rejects heaven.

It is not me who is sending you to hell, nor are your good works sending you to heaven.

Your nature is sinful just like mine. God made only one way to heaven, if you reject it, you are rejecting heaven.

Well, let's set aside the concept of Hell being a place of burning torment, for a moment, and define Hell as total and eternal separation from God.

God won't let you in His Heaven (like His home) if He has no relationship with you. Just like you don't let just anyone into your home, neither does He. He desires a relationship with you. If you choose to deny Him that, He simply allows you to keep that choice after death. That's free will, right?

All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.
All men sin.

The punishment for sin is death.
eternal death = hell:cry:

Basically, we are all headed there.
We're all doomed.

BUT.... God provides a way for us to not go to Hell.
That way is Jesus.
We must have our sin forgiven.

Good people do not go to Heaven.
Forgiven people go to Heaven.

God said it.
Not me,

I don't have to prove it.
I only have to proclaim it.

Why am I going to Hell in your eyes?

I consider myself a good person,
But are you 'good' by God's standards?

I have my personal inner peace, I keep all the morals that one should, I don't lie much, don't do any drugs, I'm not promiscuous (big fan of chivalry), I take care of my family,

But, when you compare yourself to the perfection of God, how are you?

I support homosexuality,
God declares homosexuality an abomination to Him.

I support evolution, think prayer has no place in schools, and I reject all gods and all religions because of my reasoning and logic.

People tell me all the time I'll burn in hell for an eternity if I don't accept their particular god. Is that really enough of an offense for eternal damnation?

You miss the point.
Your ego says "I'm good"
God wants you to humble yourself and realise you are not good when compared to Him.

God wants one simple act of obedience. That's all. Just one.
God wants you to accept His gift of Jesus.

If you can't be bothered with this one thing, then God doesn't want to be bothered with you.

Why do you think your going to hell. No one can say
this in truth but alot of bible thumpers will say it and
get rich over it. Maybe some day Christ will come to
you and give the graces you need to become St. Umaro.
It may do you well to read some bible stories. Pray for us all when you make it.
Best of luck

I don't think I'm going to hell. I don't even think hell exists. I consider myself as moral and good as most Christians, better than some because I don't persecute alternative lifestyles. I just got tired of hearing it from people, and wanted to know the reasons. I have read and studied the Bible actually, and I found it actually pushed me farther away. Why would Christ need to come to me before I can have graces? Can't the two be independent?

I have no idea if you are going to hell. Only God knows if you are going to hell, only he can send you there and only he can judge you.

You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. John 8:15-16

That's for God to say.

I don't even think hell exists.
You don't have to believe in food either.
Belief won't matter.

Christians are no more moral than others.
They just realise they don't meet God 's standards.
Christians are failures on their own.
They ned Gods help.

I just got tired of hearing it from people, and wanted to know the reasons.
It's God's reasons, not ours.

It's quite common to reject God's ways.
Most people do.

Why would Christ need to come to me before I can have graces? Can't the two be independent?
Isn't that kinda selfish?

If you do not want to be with Him, He will not force you. Do you think He should force you against your will?

Why is it selfish to say I can be a good person without believing in Jesus? There are billions of people who don't believe in Jesus.

Yes, I do! God finds hundreds of people when they don't want to be with him, when they are not looking or when they don't care. I was one of them. How do you know God does not force us to be with him? He can do anything.

Prove that there are millions (or more) who are not going to heaven.

It's selfish to ask for His grace, yet otherwise reject Him

What does this statement even have to do with heaven? I want to know why it is selfish to think I can be a good person on my own volition.
You stated that there are billions who don't believe in Jesus. I am just saying that if you are going to make a fact statement, then prove it.

You don't know the hearts of the world and thus should shy away from making statements on what people believe.

As for your good works...

Good works do not unite you to God. God has provided a way for you to be in fellowship with him. If you really think that you can do something to unite yourself with God, then you think to highly of yourself. You are but a miserable sinner who is incapable to doing anything holy. Faith (given to you by God) is the only thing that can save you. You can reject that faith all you want but you cannot DO anything to earn your salvation.
