In Revelation 7 there are 12 tribes mentioned as "sealed":
Juda(h)
Reuben
Gad
Aser (Asher)
Nephthalim (Naphtali)
Manasses
Simeon
Levi
Issachar
Zabulon (Zebulun)
Joseph
Benjamin
No Ephraim.
No Dan.
In the O.T., The Tribe of Joseph was "split" into two distinctions according to his 2 sons, Ephraim and Manasses. I suppose you could say that Ephraim is represented in the "sealing" by the mention of Joseph as a tribe (Why Manasses is mentioned and Joseph is mentioned, but not Ephraim?), but that does not explain the conspicuous absence of the Tribe of Dan.
This small omission intrigues me and I was just wondering if anyone had revelation (pardon the small pun) on this...perhaps from something you've read on it, or something the Holy Spirit has revealed to you, or from your own study?
Thx in advance,
