oops! I think my age is showing!
Waahoo! Beatles rock!!

As far as christian music is concerned: Tourniquet is my absolute favorite followed very closely by Bride and Guardian - also Third Day and FFH (four for harmony) are also excellent bands.

I would have to say

Audio A
Jars of Clay
Third Day
Skillet
Insyderz
Supertones
TFK
Cadet
KJ-52
John Reuben
Ill Harmonics
Grits
Jennifer Knapp
Toby Mac
Tait
Kevin Max
DC Talk
The Swift
Kutless
Rebecca St. James
Dove Brothers
Lewis Family
Lost Dogs
Everybodyduck
Echoing Green
... and the list goes on and on. As you can see I like groups and performers of various types of music it is all good and all has interesting sounds. One thing I would like to see an attempt which I think Jars of Clay has done is take bluegrass music and give it a more of a pop/alternitive sound, their latest CD has a couple of songs that are like this especially the fith song which I think is called "Trouble with"

In order of FAVORITE:

Petra: Beyond Belief (if you haven't heard it, even if you don't like the music, you NEED to hear the words!)
Peace Of Mind (I AM, Crucify Him, and Coming Soon are all in my top ten fav. songs)
Guardian: Fire And Love (Never Gonna Say Goodbye is a really great song)
Whitecross (pure nestalgia)

Hey Rob,

Peace of Mind, huh? Never heard of them.

As for the others, Petra is the best. Have you heard their latest, Jekyll & Hyde?

Guardian was pretty good. I liked the Elefante era the best (Before Steve Taylor started producing them).

Whitecross had their day. I liked up through In the Kingdom. High Gear sounded too much like ITK & I wasn't impressed. I kind of lost interest after that.

Anyways, good choices.

Peace of Mind is a side band of KJ-52 (www.kj-52.com). He is the guy that did 'Dear Slim'. If you listen to Christian Rock radio, then you have heard that and Peace Of Mind's 'I AM'. It is a powerful song about the diety of Christ.. I don't like their kind of music, but that is some goooood stuff.

I have never heard Jekyl and Hyde, I haven't had the money for CDs.. it is Christmas time for my wife and three kids, so I am poor for another few months...

I don't even remember which Whitecross tapes I used to listen to over and over. Man, that takes me back... Yellow and Black attack.. Ha! Anyone remember Mike Warnke? or Whiteheart?
