Here's a game I hope you'll enjoy.
I like to think about how terrific people are. There are many people who make a big difference in our lives. And, they come from many different areas. Some don't seem to say or do much, but what they say or do can make a world of difference to somebody. I've met many people who have really helped me to grow and learn.
So, here's how to do it:
Just choose a person from one of these categories who's made enough of a difference in your life to have earned the designation 'hero'. You can write one from each of the categories, if you desire, and can post more from the same categories in your next posts. You can also just write a designation, such as 'father', 'boss', 'stranger', 'teacher', etc., or you can write the person's name.

Miscellaneous
I'll start with this one:
From Miscellaneous, one of my heroes is Robert Stroud, the Birdman of Alcatraz. He spent 53 years in solitary confinement on Alcatraz and worked nearly all of those years taking care of birds. He learned a lot about bird diseases and wrote my favorite book, "Diseases of Birds" which I used extensively rehabilitating sick and injured birds.
