There is a post around here that I think is so ridiculous as it makes no sense unless you have a false conception of those who love Christ. And the only person to choose the obvious "bad" answer, that no one else would choose because they are anti-homosexuality and pro-Jesus.
I personally believe would be the OP of that thread that selected it, trying to make it "appear"
that someone would, but hey...I could be wrong.

Anyway, I think a better poll is, who would you NEVER want to get a pint of blood from?

I wonder if the pro-homosexuals will be honest with this poll or if they will give PC answers?

PS.. I voted that I would never want to receive blood from a homosexual.

Edit to Add: Let me make it simple for everyone, let's say that at the location you need to receive blood, they do not have the technology to check the blood you get, the above options are all you know about the donors.

Just a habit I picked up before I came to CF, I find it can sometimes break the tension in an angry discussion.

No, what she really means is exactly what she said. For some of us, what a person looks like on paper is not ground to pre-judge them. If I'm lying in hospital dying, my blood transfusions can come from the illegitimate child of a Martian and a moon-lady if a reputable doctor says its fine.

Probably because the fundies picketed in front of the FDA stronghold. There is absolutely no reason for that at all, except for the fact that people are all "only homosexuals get STDS!". It's a myth. Nowadays, AIDs comes from hereditary means and blood transfusions more than sex because people are more careful. AIDs is now so widespread you can't even say homosexuals or heterosexuals have it more than another. Completely celibate people could have it.

So if that's your reason, it's stupid, and just another excuse to hate.

Well if a homosexual doesn't have any sort of diease or anything else bad I wouldn't mind having recieving blood for them. I can't wait until the ACLU makes a rumble at the FDA for this.

My option wasn't there either. If I was in a position where I needed to receive a pint of blood, I wouldn't care who it came from, as long as it made me healthy again. And I'd be extremely grateful to whoever had donated it.
