Gotta love it when the constitution-loving party doesn't get constitutional facts right.

That isn't how the new VP gets selected. When the VP become president, the Speaker doesn't become VP. The new VP is nominated by the president. The Speaker of the House only ascends when the presidency becomes vacant and the VP can't fill the role.

I can understand Harris being President f Biden goes, but why Pelosi? She's much more valuable to the party where she is and I have no doubt that Harris would pick somebody else for VP.

I’d also like to point out that Biden has wanted to be president for at least 30 some odd years now. If he finally gets it, I doubt he will willingly just step aside immediately.

A lot of the poor people in America aren’t actually poor but rather rich people temporarily down on their luck. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but maybe tomorrow they will be rich and those taxes will hit them.

If the shoe doesn't fit, don't wear it. But I will say that my objection to Trump is not Trump himself (although he is objectionable in many ways) but his "base." I lived in the Bible Belt for a while with the wrong religion (Anglican) and the wrong politics (liberal) and wouldn't want to see the whole country run that way. I don't have a whole lot of use for the 'Jesus hates gun control and thinks global warming is a hoax' crowd and pretty much agree with Hilary's choice of epithet.
