I do know what you mean. I am on here seeking Christian fellowship because I do not know that many Christians in RL. I can see getting to know someone and having somewhat meaningful interaction with that person in a setting like this, but as far as falling in love and actually meeting your future spouse, the odds are very slim. I'm not saying that it can't and does not happen, because I know that it does. It's just very improbable. On the flip side, it's nice to meet and interact with cool people (even if virtually) that share similar values and beliefs.

Well let's be fair. Becky does make a point. 13/14 including you and Luther couples out of how many other interests that never go anywhere? I'd make a strong bet, that even with those matchups that may be the extreme minority. I don't think this proves Becky's point as false when this is just the minority...do you think it does?

Well that is a good point. However, sometimes it does go somewhere, and she said it never does, which I being the little butt that I am just had to point out was incorrect.
But seriously, most relationships -online or off- don't go anywhere. My last six didn't. Or for that matter, most crushes and dates don't go anywhere, either. I don't even know how many crushes I've had or dates I've been on in my lifetime that didn't go anywhere. Does that make crushes, dating, and relationships pointless things that shouldn't be bothered with? I don't think so because you only need one to go somewhere. What will really and truly be sure to never go anywhere is not bothering with any of it.
