I think many people had a low bar but he should have won. It was a gimme for Biden, for real. The biggest softball in history.

8 days to rest and bone up on the facts, an exact replica of the debate set in which to practice and have mock debates...

No sitting president has ever taken this much time to prepare for a presidential debate - no president ever in history.

All the rules were in Bidens favor - if he had all his faculties - even the moderating staff who we watched have to run cover (and they totally saved him on more than one occasion) were in Bidens favor.

If Biden was alright, if he was within the realm of being functionally capable of being CEO of the biggest country on earth, this would have been a cakewalk and he would have walked all over Trump.

Trump can't debate, he's nothing but one big opening that's so easy to attack, I don't know if it's his strategy, it very well could be because it gains sympathy when people look mean, but debate is Trump's greatest weakness, at least presidential type debate.

There's no way he would have won the debate against someone with all their faculties, which is what media keeps claiming Biden has, all his faculties...

That's why though your bar was so low, you know Biden is without his faculties, but the media has been lying to many people about that... And many believed the lie.

“I don't debate as well as I used to” but said “I know how to do this job” as he appeared at a rally in North Carolina on Friday."

He's not considering that TO DO the job of the U.S. President means you should be able to debate, NOT JUST AGAINST TRUMP but in all meetings in negotiations with other leaders around the world you should be of a state that you can articular well. Let's be honest...it's not that he didn't debate just well.....he just doesn't have the capacity to debate at all.

This period of time in the U.S. I think future historians we put it down as the strangest time like none other. The question will be how could a generation EVER put this dear man in the position of running the great country of the United States. What happened? Did they pass through the Twilight Zone

It was the Twilight Zone of the Covid Pandemic. Mass confusion, fear and misdirection. I think if there hadn't been a pandemic thowing everything into chaos and things were going as well as in the three previous years, Trump would now be finishing up his second term.
