Who will teach us??

Woobad, I have not given my understanding yet lol, I am asking you questions based on the premise of the text...Here is more of the context of the text though... what do you make of it?(emphasis mine)

1John 2:18-28 Children, it's the end of time. You've heard that an antichrist is coming. Certainly, many antichrists are already here. That's how we know it's the end of time. (19) They left us. However, they were never really part of us. If they had been, they would have stayed with us. But by leaving they made it clear that none of them were part of us. (20) The Holy One has anointed you, so all of you have knowledge. (21) I'm writing to you because you know the truth, not because you don't know the truth. You know that no lie ever comes from the truth. (22) Who is a liar? Who else but the person who rejects Jesus as the Messiah? The person who rejects the Father and the Son is an antichrist. (23) Everyone who rejects the Son doesn't have the Father either. The person who acknowledges the Son also has the Father. (24) Make sure that the message you heard from the beginning lives in you. If that message lives in you, you will also live in the Son and in the Father. (25) Christ has given us the promise of eternal life. (26) I'm writing to you about those who are trying to deceive you. (27) The anointing you received from Christ lives in you. You don't need anyone to teach you something else. Instead, Christ's anointing teaches you about everything. His anointing is true and contains no lie. So live in Christ as he taught you to do. (28) Now, dear children, live in Christ. Then, when he appears we will have confidence, and when he comes we won't turn from him in shame.

The additional texts shed light on something that was being addressed.... Verse 26...

But yes, my conclusion is accurate. For, there are those who will tell you what they think about God, but not really disclose to you what God has to say about Himself. Now, does this mean they are intentionally trying to deceive others, we don't know. For, they could just simply be uninformed.

But what we do know is that everything that they say ought to be held up to the light of the Holy Scriptures, to see if the teaching harmonizes with the teachings of Jesus Christ. If it doesn't measure up to what is written in God's word, then it is antichrist, and should be rejected.

Yes I agree from this standpoint... it seems what John was addressing was the fact that the believers were being approached by some "teachers" who were trying to enlighten them. But the teachers were not geniune because they did not believe Christ was the Messiah, they had rejected Christ and John called them the antichrist. So he wrote the believers and told them you don't need those teachers, you have God's spirit in you, He has taught you and will continue to do so.... then he concludes by saying, "Now, dear children, live in Christ. Then, when he appears we will have confidence, and when he comes we won't turn from him in shame."

I agree; and this, I believe, is why Jesus had said, "If anyone desires to do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it is of God, or I speak from Myself." Jn. 7:17

The only person I see here that is being hostile and pushy is you. And I am not the only one who feels this way.

I always feel the answer must lay 'within' to use a cliche but its all we have
the Kingdom within will match the Kingdom without? that make sense
could just be my dogma
