Who Wants to be a Mod?

As hard as it's been to even get moderators, you want to set a term-limit? LOL!

I'm just teasing, I don't think it's a bad idea, but I'd prefer that we let them do it until they prove they can't do it (not enough time, or prejudice shown, etc) or until they resign.

I'm a firm believer in not fixing something until it's broken.

My two cents.

Not term limits. I was thinking along the lines of the Hall of Fame. Moderators serve until they are burnt out but we keep adding to the list as needed.

That's a good idea.

Tall and Sophia have both been mods before, so I don't know if they want to do it anymore.

Sarah (IntotheCrimsonSky) would make a good moderator. I wish Cliff would ,but he has said no many times. Jimlarmore would do well. Winslow is a good guy. If Honeydew were around often she has a level head.

If only ThreeAM were still around.

And as for my nomination I am thinking it over, but leaning no.

I was also going to suggest Stormy, but I never thought any of the Tradtionals would go for it.

I think the old age limit for mods was 16. I don't know if they have one now or not. But I am sure 19 is fine.

IntotheCrimsonSky would be an EXCELLENT moderator, and I think she'd provide good counseling too.

She's still in school though, so I don't know if this something she would be able to devote a lot of time to.

Sassy basically told me no in e-mail, and she really does have a very full plate right now.

My son is 13 and I know he'd never be mature enough to mod. I think he'd get a superiority complex over having that kind of power. In fact, I know he would.

I saw where he ran when given permission to put my other son in time-out. It wasn't pretty, and my 4-year-old was in time-out for 45 minutes of the 1 hour my oldest was allowed to watch him.

I meant in the old rules ,but yes, one had to be at least 16 years of age to moderate.

I am declining my nomination, though I do thank those who put my name forward. At the current time I have enough things to work through and would likely be too controversial for some.
