Who sank the Kursk submarine?

Can anyone actually tell me what happen to this submarine? I heard there is an official version and a actual version. So which one is true? What do you think? A conspiracy VS technical fault as I was being told. Chinese official was involved??

I don't know if we'll ever get the whole story but the case for an accident seems awefully convincing.

I've heard the theory that a NATO submarine was playing hide-n'-seek with the Russians when they collided. During the Cold War, this was a popular method of testing equipment and seeing who was the best to go silent in the water. I'm sure the Russians and the Western Nations still play games like that. That NATO-sub was later to have been seen at docks in Norway, being repaired.

I'm not really prepared to believe such a theory though, and go with the official one - that it was indeed an accident - however interesting these conspiracy theories are.

I would like to touch on the psychology aspect of this incident?

What would be the thoughts of:

1) the parents of submariners?
2) minds of subamariners facing death
3) minds of people of Russia?
4) mind of president clinton?
5) mind of putin?

These are something new which people do not discuss about it.

There's a large hole along the right side of the kursk. Any idea what causes the large hole. One answer is that it was attacked by US submarine, MK-48 adcap torpedo. But some say it is not possible. I'm confused over this. Any opinion?

Seriously, I assume it was an accident, but it's not like I'd die of shock if I found out that there was some sort of coverup involved; we are talking about the military here.
