Who listens to all christian music?

No I listen to a lot of other music, but i like Christian artists and think they are good.

Thats all i listen to. There's already enough negative stuff in my life that i didnt need to add to it more with more negative stuff. My youth pastor says Garbage in garbage out. It was time for me to put positive stuff in. besides i love worshiping God.. and the way i do it is through music!

I can't find the variety I like to switch to only listening to christian music....I do enjoy the occasional rap song or rock song in there somewhere just so long as I can't hear any of the words...I'm mainly in it for the beat..

I listen to MUSIC... that is all.. I don't listen to secular or christian.. just music. What do I mean? You can't put a label on music...

If you define the genre based on lyrics, then a lot of artists such as Lifehouse and Creed will get pegged as "Christian" bands and a lot of artists like POD will get pegged as "Secular"

If you define the genre based on what glorifies God, then who is the judge of that?

It is nearly impossible to distinguish between "christian" and "secular" music.

I listen to music.. plain and simple.

No its not.. I am simply saying that because there is no way of determining what is truly christian and what isn't...oh nevermind. I give up.

well for me, i listen to alot of worship songs and the local radio station(which gets annoying b/c they play the same stuff 100x over and it's like mainstream and middle of the road music) i don't like to listen to secular or worldly music b/c it doesn't settle right in my spirit, it's like pollution, and when the Holy Spirit convicts me on any music i just simply have to quite listening to it, i don't even like to listen to secular/worldly music without the lyrics, because the spirit of that song is still on it, the intents of the artist are still with that song and i don't want to be cracking the door open for the devil to even get his big toe in...i like artist such as Darlene (however you spell her last name), Shane and Shane (which i happen to be listening to right now) Carmen (if you couldn't tell by my avatar) micheal w. smith, stephen curtis chapman... as for groups i enjoy Third Day, Casting Crowns...i love praise and worship music at my church...yet on the occasion i listen to like some country music, even though i hate country music (weird, eh?) that's my answer to the question(s)

and may the Holy Spirit convict you and you do what needs to be done in your life in order to gain a closer relationship with the one and only- God (even if it means cutting out all music all together) didn't mean to be so blunt
