The fun of being "safely" scared,LOL! I am too busy lately reading inspirational books, but have read some Dean Koontz[Stephen King is too filthy for my tastes] Clive Barker,Piers Anthony. It actually has been quite a few years since I have read horror, and the last was a medical horror/thriller "Hot Zone" about the Ebola virus and I do plan to read soon,"Demon In The Freezer:A True Story" which is another medical thriller.

I love both! I have the list of the '100 Scariest Movies' of all time and I hope to see them all over the next couple years. And I'm a very devout Stephen King fan, in fact right now I am reading IT. :)
I am fan of Stephen King too! I have bought all books by him! His horrors are superior.
But I also like Clive Barker, the only bad thing about books by Clive Barker is that they are quite often disguisting and extremely violent.

Anyways, I am also into japanese horrors. I bet some of you know, read or watched The Ring, The Grudge or Dark waters... Japanese horrors are amazing. I was so scared, when I was watching them.

Not so much horror, but suspense and hauntings, I love.

I like Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and strangely, her book, Memnoch the Devil was the reason I started reading the bible seriously again about 10 years ago. I haven't read her new book, Christ the Lord, but I am going to.

I love movies like The Others, The Changeling; any good haunting or movie with a ghost who has something to prove and is trying to communicate in some way. I liked the Skeleton Key too. There are others, just can't think of any.

Not really into movies like Saw or Hostel. It freaks me out that there are people out there who imagine this stuff up, no offense, just not my genre.

Good question.

I also like ghost siting reality shows, which serve to give me goosebumps, but my all time fav. movie of that genre is The Changeling starring George C. Scott.

You should watch it.

Do you own horses?

I've seen The Others but the end wasn't that surprising. I like Anne Rice and the Vampire Chronicles and the movie; Interview with the Vampire based upon them (not the sequel as that was porrly made).

Stephan King is my hero. I love his books. Pet Semetary should be read by everyone that likes horror. Its the only book that made my flesh crawl.
