I have had about a dozen cats while growing up, and I have one now. I don't even know what life would be like without one, but I can imagine that it would be boring. Cats are a friend when you are feeling down; they are a comic when you need to laugh; and they will always do things that'll surprise you.

I love cats!! They are the best pet in my opinion. They are independent and have wonderful personalities. I would really like to get a Rag Doll cat, they are very big and fluffy. They will actually flop in your arms like a rag doll. Hence the name. lol

I have 2 cats- one is very curious and sweet and always wanting to be wherever I am and the other is a bit more distant and moody but still loving. I love them both very very very much.

It never fails to delight me how different my cats are one from the other. They all have specific personalities and unique ways of expressing their needs and giving affection.

As for affection one of mine likes to bunt heads and touch noses (with me). Another loves to snuggle up and lay down right next to you when you are sitting in a chair. He sometimes puts his paw right in my face too. And one just keeps brushing up against you wherever you are.

They differ in how they receive affection too. One likes to be stroked, one likes back and chin rubs, another just loves the nose touching.

Ha! I remember when our cat found us.
I was 12 years old and Christmas was only a few days away.
I was outside on our porch steps singing Christmas carols loudly to annoy our neighbors.
All of the sudden, this thing ran across our yard.
We lived out in the country at the time, so I thought it was a racoon with rabies.

Then this sweet, cute little kitten, no more than six months old, comes walking up our steps and meows at us.
We named her Josey after a cat my dad had when he was little.
But yeah, she keeps us entertained.

I love my cat. Many times I feel as if I know whats she saying and vice versa. She definetely has her own personality and shes part of our family.

I love my Bluey! He has an attitude andI think that's what I like. Really fiesty and mischievious in the adorable "Who me?" way. And he's very vocal so I get an earful when he's trying to communicate.

My cats are cool... cause there always there when your down. and they make you feel better.

Love cats, not dogs. They have so much personality. I have a BurmeseX, quite psychotic but he fills a space in my live people can't. I love what a Christian friend once said to me about stroking our pets. She said they sense Jesus in us & that's why they seek to be so close. Love that.
