Friday I will be going to a prayer meeting that I heard is sometimes attended by my friend. Maybe he will be there. Anyway if he is I am hoping that I might be able to go up to him and speak with him. Maybe God will make a way and we may be able to get together to reconcile at long last. Pray he'd come and that he'd not be too afraid to speak with me. Also pray that I'd have courage to approach and the right words. Thanks so much--Rose Kuo

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Open Rose's friends ears & heart to what Rose has to say and give Rose just the right words. Give her the courage and strength to do what she knows You would have her do in this situation, LORD. Let a calmness be upon her that could only be of You and help her to be a blessing unto her friend (& unto all You bring into her life).
This we ask through JESUS CHRIST.

Amen, Rose. We need to remember that HE is in all things! HE will use us to HIS glory and bless us in so doing if we let HIM. For HE never makes us do anything, but merely "prods" us in the right direction. But, when we yield to HIM, HE sure makes things happen.

Tim, It is weird you shared what you did. The prayer meeting I am planning to attend was fixing its website so I could not get the address. I went to another obsure site and then I discovered they had forgotten to clear old info on that site. It gave the time and location of the meeting. I also normally had no intention of going to that meeting, but there seemed to be an inner prompt to go. All of that and more makes me think that perhaps the Lord gave me the idea. So I do believe that for some reason I am to go there this Friday and I am to go alone. I'll give a report after.--Rose

Dearest Friends,
Things did not really go as I had hoped. I went to the meeting only to discover I was there on a night that was there evening off. I also found out that he rarely attends there now. But the woman there and I had sweet fellowship and I learned about their burden for unity in the church. I told her to pray for Allan and I and that I truly wanted to see unity in our situation because it would then carry over to so many other situations, since so many people have been hurt in many churches because of this. So I have another to stand with me. I was on a trip this weekend for the holiday and my heart was near to bursting with the desire to not only see my friend but be reconciled. I had to keep focused on having a good family time even though there was such sorrow from having yet another disappointment and yet I know that God sees and I have not lost hope. Do pray he'd call or make some attempt this week.
Thank you for your sweet prayers. They are truly more for Allan than me. The Lord has rescued me, but he is still in great darkness. Thanks again--Rose
