CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

From what I know about physics it was the strain that killed him. I am more inclined to wonder if Jesus could have avoided his death and still accomplished his goals. If not I expect he killed himself.

Yea I know the politically correct answer is that we all killed him and yes I know he was meant to die but it seems to me the Pharisees played the biggest role in killing him. I dont understand why the Romans would want him dead he never told anyone to rebel against Rome or anything. I know I've watched documentaries where they seem to always point the finger at the Romans but I think like everything on TV it is being biased. John Chapter 8 Christ definately doesnt seem to be too happy with those that are trying to kill him.

Well. I say that God requested that Jesus be crucified, and ofcourse the people of the time who made it all happen by using the resources they had available, but being that He died for our sins, we can also say we did. Everyone played a role huh? Even Jesus, He allowed Himself to die, for God's Will was being accomplished through Him; and Jesus said that is the reason He came, to do God's Will.bornagainjohn14 said:

I wasn't even alive then ,it is physically impossible for me to be involved with the killing of christ , since if everyone did kill him then there would be no christian faith because what kind of sick christian would such a thing .

Well I just call myself Christian. I really dont know where that term judeo-christian started. Its not in the bible I know that. What do you guys think of like the rev 3:9 and stuff. It sounds pretty condemning. I dont know though Im young I could be wrong.

The Romans killed Jesus at the behest of the Jews, who were controlled by Satan, who was himself controlled by God to carry out God's plan, and Jesus is God. Therefore, Jesus killed himself using a chain of patsies.
