I don't think scripture defines scripture, only the holy spirit guides us in all truth brother. You say what you say and know what you *think* you know is because you are gathering it from those false doctrines and you listen to other people. I remember I used to read those stuff too, if I learned anything it doesn't lead to the truth cause those websites are filled with words made up by man. And the Bible tells us not to put our faith in man but God only. We are not here to be served but serve and we are to serve God only. Stop reading that crap..it's not legitimate and I know darn well they are not words of the spirit but mans' own mouth.
Jen you are courting falling into serious error!
Ephesians 4:
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
God ordered pastors and teachers to teach us sound doctrine. Now they are mortal men and we should look to the Word of God to see if they hold to the truth. What criteria do you use when you get a "word" from the Holy spirit as you say to insure it is a Word from God???
So I should also stop reading your words for to quote you: "Stop reading that crap..it's not legitimate and I know darn well they are not words of the spirit but mans' own mouth."
So tell me why I should listen to your words and not theirs!
