Who is on the Lord's side?

In the Old Testament Scriptures, God called Israel to make a decision. He did it through a sermon preached by Joshua. Joshua reminded the nation of all that they had gone through. And they stood on the brink of the Jordan River, about to enter the promised land. Joshua asked, who is on the Lord's side? Joshua answered that as far as his own household was concerned and himself, he was on the Lord's side. The rest of the nation had to decide if they were on the Lord's side or if they were on somebody else's side. God calls us to make similar decisions today. Whose side are we on when it comes to questions that our society faces? Do we stand for justice? Or are we instead make our stand on other issues, other matters, like political party support or which nations to support and which to condemn?

If you were to write a checklist or a prayer list about the things that matter to you, and the things that you believe God has called you to do, where would your political allegiance, your religious beliefs, and your allegiance to nations in the world Place you?

As an outsider forced to live among the system of man, staying under the radar, not rebelling but simply loving all as self to the best of my ability. A friend to all and not a personal threat to anyone, but in doing so by these actions as an underlying destabilizing threat as a representative of the Kingdom to the world man has made in it's own image.
