Who is in charge?

In another section of this forum someone repeated a claim that has often been made, to with that because of sin there are several things that God has allowed. I just can't wrap my head around that. First, is God so wimpish that sin was able to force His hand and make Him allow things He would not otherwise have. Second, what was it that made Him allow sin?

It is mortals who have this view of Him so they are ones to answer. Unless they think that their beliefs are more important than the picture they are painting of Him. I'd prefer not to believe that.

No. God knew that sin would cause immediate separation between God and man. God warned man of what would happen if man failed to heed God's warning. But because God did not create robot like creatures that were preprogramed to love in a preprogramed manner, those creatures were free to disobey God's warning. All of God's crearures were given free will to go against the best wishes and desires of God the Father.

Second, what was it that made Him allow sin?

Eternal love and the creation of free will. See 1 Corinthians 13.

It's not His weakness, it's His making allowance for our weakness.

I wish those who have responded would take the time to consider the implications of their responses.

Why is it so important that what we have already decided about the Creator must be true? Are we not saying by that attitude that we cannot be wrong? Are we not placing ourselves in the place of the Creator?

we know our limits.. anyone who has this answer.. i wouldnt believe.. the SECRET ARE FOR GOD.. what is revealed to us if for us. leave those things to God instead of stirring up confusion. ppl argue over these things..

like someone was talking to me bout the trinity. if they are one or 3 indeed.. who care. how will figuring this out aid u.. how will arguing over it aid..

teach me bout sohe bible morals man. and STRUGGLES that we face as christians and HOW TO ENDURE and FACE them... something to uplift me..

The point is that you cannot really receive the benefits of strength from someone whom you may paint as a weakling. We serve a Creator who is mighty and powerful and we must accept Him for Who He is. If our doctrines diminish His greatness then we must be mature enough to abandon them because life eternal is not found in our doctrines but in knowledge of the One who made us all.

i having problems with worldly distractions.. i am not too long pulled out of this realm so .. its quite easy for me to just flip back into it and this is hard for me. even thought when i realise.. i hurriedly fall back where i should be..
