Psalms 2:1
Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? (Dr. Smart)
Why are there so many different denomination and different doctrine of the bible?
Why does atheist try to prove there is no God?
Why does some believe in eternal security?
Why does some do not believe in eternal security
Why does some believe in speaking in tongues?
Why does some believe you do not speak in tongues?
Why does some believe the church goes through the great tribulation?
Why does some believe the church will be rapture before the great tribulation?
Why does some believe in divine healing?
Why does some do not believe healing?
You could go on and on with the why. Make you a list of all the different doctrines, different denominations that are taught. Why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, so many book written with different messages, why?
There are many bible scholars, Dr. pastor, Dr. Evangelist, Dr. So So, Dr, So, Dr. Smart, Dr. Dumb. You name it, we got it. Then we wonder why people do not believe the bible is inspired by God.
Even within the Baptist, for example, there are many different teachings concerning scriptures.
Now here is the real problem, the lost are confused, about what to believe or even how to get saved.
The saved gets in trouble, then believe they are condemned for ever. Because of what some Dr. Smart said.
Just think there is a Christian, who has sinned and deeply regrets it and wants to repent and be forgiven, he is trying to seek advice from the church people on what to do. It seems like almost hitting the lottery that he gets the right advice.
I believe we have gotten to the main issue to where we need to say like the Apostle Paul: 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Furthermore, they are probably many that are going to interpret what Paul said differently. Now some Dr. Smart or Bible Scholars may say Jesus needed saving because he was crucified.
Here is my interpretation what Paul is saying. Because of all the confusion and different opinions in this world, the only thing that's really going to matter is that Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins and was raised from the grave for our justification. And that if we confess that we are sinners and call upon Jesus to forgive and save us, He will save us.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Nevertheless, how will Dr Smart Interpret that? He might say which names do you use, God, Jesus, Christ, Immanuel, or Jehovah.
Who is Dr. Smart? He is the devil trying to twist everything around that God has said.
He did it with Eve and even tried to twist God word around to confuse Jesus. However, there is where the devil failed big time.
Finally, there is one teaching where they are many different opinions on, you cannot count them.
And here, I go with me with my opinion. I believe the bible teaches eternal security, once saved always saved, is eternal life.
There are many that say they believe in eternal security and agree that no man can pluck you out of God hand. Even so, you can walk away from God yourself.
I say hog wash. You are bought with and price ant that price is the precious blood of Jesus. You mean to say that God would allow a person to walk out of his Hand and go back into the hand of Satan after He has given His Son Blood to save you.
A saved person does not have the choice to walk out. You are not your own. Besides who in the heck (whatever heck means) wants to walk out of heaven into hell?
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Dr. Smart of course will try to interpret that differently. He will say you need to know Greek and Hebrew to really understand the meaning of words.
I say to Dr. Smart I have study Hebrew thoroughly many, many times from chapter 1-13
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I do not understand why they are some that even teach different. Some say that teaching eternal security gives a person reasons to go out and sin, because they are saved and will not go to hell anyway.
Hog wash, when a person saved, they get a new nature. He/she does not want to sin.
However, Jesus said it is impossible but offenses will come. Why because we still have that sinful nature in us, even though we are saved. Nevertheless, we do not lose our salvation when we fail.
We repent and seek the Lord's grace to overcome our sins. He promised to deliver us from this present sinful world, and even the present of sin. Jesus will be coming back one day to do just that. Praise the Lord!!!
Believing in eternal security always gives you hope that no matter how far you fall not to quit, it gives you hope to keep praying for victory over the sins they may have you down.
However, if you believe you can lose salvation you will give up and say what is the use to even pray, because you are going to hell anyway. Then you fall further and further down.
