Who is blind but My servant? questions about Isaiah 42:18-19

In Isaiah 42:18-19 confuses me - I'm not getting the drift of what the writer is saying:

Hear, you deaf! And look, you blind, that you may see. Who is blind but My servant, or so deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is so blind as he that is at peace with Me, Or so blind as the servant of the Lord?

Was God saying his prophets were blind? Who is he talking to? What does God want to get across in these passages?

I think I understand, God is saying "not only are YOU blind and deaf, my very own messengers are too. But My messengers know their deafness and blindness. YOU don't. Listen, therefore, to Me as I speak thru Isaiah - let's come together and reason."

I just thought of that. What do you all think?
