Well, when I was dating him I knew he wasn't a believer, but supposedly he accepted Christ and then we got married. I was naive and completely trusted him. Maybe he really did ask him into his heart, but his heart was hard and the word never sunk in and he had way too much experience ignoring his conscience.

I've learned that a marriage without Christ is handicapped. The guy's spiritual walk and relationship with Christ is my priority when I'm deciding on dating him. A man who prays and is obedient to the Word of God is very attractive to me.

:prayer: 2Cr 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

I know that a marriage with Christ is handicapped
As we should have our relationship based on that fact
As well as praying and leaning on the Lord.

My (now ex) girlfriend isn't a Christian and I must say that our relationship (for just over a year) was quite difficult, though for other reasons as well. I have so many regrets about it (though I don't regret going out with her as I learnt some valuble lessons) and I'm going to be very careful about deciding who to enter into relationships with in the future.

We are still good friends though (although I don't think she knows how difficult I found the relationship when we were going out) and I keep praying that she will come to know Christ.

My sister's then boyfriend now husband wasn't a Christian as they dated and got engaged
She about broke things off because he needed to become one and he did through bible study and prayer
Now they are devout Christians indeed.
