I know this question may get a lot of ambiguous answers and responses such as... there is no short answer to this question.

I assume that if someone believes and has faith in God and accepts God and accepts that Jesus Christ died for our sins then he will go to heaven and not hell. Are there any exceptions to this? If a baby dies will it go to hell? Can someone go to hell through ignorance of God? If someone is mentally retarded and cannot understand or apreciate the concept of God, will this person go to hell? I am not trying to debate the morality of any of these issues. I would just like as "clear cut" definition of who gets condemned to hell and who can go to heaven. I know ultimatey it is God's decision but what does the bible say on the matter and what are the commonly held beliefs in Christianity regarding what people are deserving of hell.

I say if God is merciful enough to send his own Son down here to suffer what he suffered, then he would be merciful enough to give sufficient grace to someone who has not had the clear cut chance to accept his salvation. My answer is No, infants or anyone who doesn't have a chance to reject him willfully and understandably will go to hell. Only those who willfully reject him will go to hell.

The two blessed are the Jews from Jacob

Those to be cut off (entire generations including children) are of the serpent seed generation. The jewish leaders at the time of Christ were not Jews, but "do lie" and are (were) of the synagogue of satan (literally). They were edomites from Esau converted to Jews. Therefore it is written:

Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. (Romans 9:7)

And

For they are not all Israel (the blessed son of Abraham), which are of Israel (the country): (Romans 9:6)

The edomites control Israel to this day. And their god, the god of forces, has placed his kingdom on the rock of the dome upon the old temple mount (Mount Zion) in Israel.

And the bible confirms that satan kills his own people (as he owns two generations)

Jesus spoke of and to this generation many times calling them "generation of vipers" "serpents" "of their father, the devil". And John the Baptist confirmed his testimony.

O Generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? (Matthew 12:24)

O faithless and perverse generation (Matthew 17:17)

But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation (Luke 17:25)

From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation (Luke 11:51)

For the children of this world are in their generation wiser (craftier) than the children of light (Luke 16:8)

So do babies go to hell? Only by the grace and mercy of God, for all things are possible. Remember, He reaps where He did not sow.

Let me get this straight. You're professing that salvation is the product of accepting God. Is that your belief? If so, I urge you to enlighten us all to the mysterious verse which purports that salvation is by anything other than grace alone. As a follower of God I'd be very interested in knowing where God tells us that we are saved because we accept Him. Oh, and when you enlighten me to that little tidbit of anthropocentric Scripture please also reconcile that passage with the clearest of passages which tells us that salvation is not by works but by grace. To accept God is a work. If you are saved because you do so then grace is no more and God is in your debt to rescue you.

Do you have any responsibility for your own salvation? the reason I ask is because of the statements you pose regarding "accepting" Jesus. Is this a decision that is up to you?

Seems to me that if I have to do something for my salvation there will always be a question about whether I have accepted him enough or been sincere enough to be granted salvation.

Did Jesus die for all people? If so, are the sins of all people invisible in God's eyes? If so, doesn't that mean that all people will go to Heaven? Or, are you actually contending that the efficacy of Christ's atonement is determined by whether we accept Christ?

No one is innocent in God's eyes apart from the imputation to them of the righteousness of Christ. The issue isn't whether anyone is born innocent. The issue is whether God does a blanket imputation of the righteousness of Christ to all children. The truth is, despite so many suppositions that He does, the Bible does not say so.

Like in the "left behind" series, where the authors imagined the Rapture, all the babies and children were raptured, because they weren't old enough to have made up their mind about God yet.

The Left Behind series? The "Left Behind" series is fiction. It is not an account of the truth of the Gospel. Read those books for enjoyment but only for the enjoyment of fiction.

I couldn't disagree with anything more completely than what you say above about free choice in the Spiritual realm. We have only one choice to reject God and go to that place of eternity without God. Only the Holy Spirit can guide us to a knowledge of eternal life with God. We don't do anything of our own will. Our will is subjugated and rendered useless in our ability to be saved.

Be careful Emmy to use scripturally sound language when discussing anything to do with who does the salvific work. The only time we have free will or choice is in the secular kingdom. We have the choice to vote for our leaders (though God puts those he wants in authority despite our free will to choose.)
We have the choice to where the red shirt or the blue shirt or no shirt at all.

But as for the Spiritual kingdom we must check our will with the Holy Spirit.

Am I missing something? Is there a passage in either testament which says non-Jewish homosexuals will go to Hell, or is this just another instance of the conservative sector misusing the Lord’s word for their own ends? If there is indeed not a word in the bible about non-Jewish homosexuals going to Hell, will those who misquote God go to Hell?

Homosexuality is tearing the church apart today. And, we have to look at everything in context regarding that fact CCS before we condemn for we are ot permitted to condemn anyone.

Romans1:26-28 states...
"For that reason God gave them up to vile affectons; for even women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust towards one another; men with men working that which is unseemly and receiving in themelves that recompense of their error which was meet.
And, even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not right."

My belief is that the non practising homosexual who loves God and refrains from unnatural desire is acceptable in the eyes of God.
This is a very long, debateable question when homosexuality is brought up.
Men lusting for men, and women lusting for women is an abomination in the eyes of God no matter who we are. The reason is that it is not natural.

Is Homosexuality a sin? How you answer this question will say a lot about what you believe about this. I believe it is a sin. Is it an unforgiveable sin? No. But to be forgiven of any sin whatsoever, one must repent of the sin they are guilty of committing. This means you stop sinning because you have been convicted by the Holy Spirit that what you are doing is sinful.

So will a practicing Homosexual who believes in God go to heaven? That is not for me to say as I am not his judge and don't pretend to be nor would I want to be. If they are still practicing the sin, how can they say they truly believe that God is truth? They are denying that what they are doing is sin and are in open rebellion to the truth. Base your answer on that.
