Who enjoys reading historical accounts of bizarre weather anomalies like fireballs, freshets, rains of fish and frogs, waterspouts, etc?

I love reading those accounts! Does anyone have favourite sources for them?

Yeah I love reading about them. In my meteorology book it tells about a cold front that went through illinois with a gale of like 70 miles per hour and froze animals in their tracks, ponds in waves, and riders to their horses. i was like :O

Flash freezing like in the Day After Tomorrow... That's fascinating.

Just finished a book about Hurricane Camille (1969) which hit Plaquemines Parish, LA and Pass Christian/Long Beach, MS with 200 mph sustained winds and a 25 foot storm surge, then dropped 31 inches of rain in Virginia two days later.

I could not put the book down.
