I believe that Moses spoke with God. Anything more than that would be mere speculation, and I don't deal with wild guesses when it comes to the word of the LORD.
God has revealed Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This can't be ignored in lieu of a more general Unitarian view.
Great verse! The Jews and Muslims also say the same thingWell, since there is one God, I believe it is El Shaddai (for He alone is my LORD) that Moses spoke with.
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD "Deuteronomy 6:4

Jo. 6:46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.
Jo.5:37 And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.
We need to read all scriptures on the subject.
again:
the jews that Jesus was answering from verse 18 of the same chapter had never heard the voice of the Father.
He did not say "no one".
It seem obvious that it is you who needs to do the rereading.
Coincidentally that is also what this great site uses in their URLin jn 5:37, does Jesus say "you" or "no one"?
Did I refer only to Jo. 5:37 or did I refer to all the scriptures that mention the subject?
I never even mentioned Jo. 5:37 until after you did.
I harmonized what Jesus said on the subject; you know, "hear a little there a little".
in jn 5:37, does Jesus say "you" or "no one"?
"Well since Jesus said no one had heard the Father it had to be an angel sent by God the Father with a message from Him.
Remember scripture can not be broken".
No. I am a Christian......I believe in one God.
how many gods do ye have?
Unitarian then?
at first appearance Moses saw what looked to be an angel.. but upon closer inspection He heard God say... just like Yeshua said "before Abraham I AM....So do you have some Scripture to show that it was Jesus who spoke to Moses in the burning bush? I'm looking for Scripture that backs your idea. I'm really interested in anything prior to the burning bush in this case.
at first appearance Moses saw what looked to be an angel.. but upon closer inspection He heard God say... just like Yeshua said "before Abraham I AM....
Acts 7:30 After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to Moses in the flames of a burning bush in the desert near Mount Sinai. 31 When he saw this, he was amazed at the sight. As he went over to get a closer look, he heard the Lord say: 32 I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
How is that for Yeshua showing up? This "He" is Yeshua that is being talked about..
37 This is the Moses who told the Israelites, God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your own people. 38 He was in the assembly in the wilderness, with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our ancestors; and he received living words to pass on to us.
Before His incarnate.. His appearance was like an angel.
Ever wonder why Abraham says Lord Lord... like he is address two of them..Why did you vote for both then?
I don't know the answer to that one... it is like how many does it take to make "us" in the beginning? Why just the two, why not all three?
Ever wonder why Abraham says Lord Lord... like he is address two of them..
